Arabian Ranches is a golf community home to Arabian Ranches Golf Club. More commonly known as “The Ranches”, it is one of the first suburban freehold villa communities in Dubai that offers a sense of community and green living.

Conceptualized by EMAAR, there are two phases to the project – namely Arabian Ranches and Arabian Ranches 2. There are currently 4,292 homes, 17,000 residents, 124 nationalities living in it, and a total built-up area of 27,000,000 sq. ft. Boasting a range of villas and townhouses, the Ranches is perfect for couples and families looking to live in a gated community of outdoor leisure and convenience.

Community Overview

The community attracts couples and families from around the world because of its lush, green, family and pet-friendly neighborhood. With complete areas for BBQ, featured swimming pools, and tennis courts, the Ranches is a suburban dream home come true.

Living in the Ranches will guarantee all your needs taken care of. The living space aims to create an all-inclusive community which they recently showed by installing a chair-lift at the pool for residents of determination. Parks are also always revamped, lighting during the night is improved, there is a day for women only at the pool, and they hired Fred, the Falcon who is responsible for driving the crows and pigeons away who gather around on the community’s balconies and roofs – without harming them.

There are also a number of ongoing community events to bring the multicultural group together. From competitions like Arabian Ranches’ Got Talent to celebrating different holidays like Eid and Christmas, the inclusive community makes anyone feel at home, no matter where they are from. It has also made getting rid of furniture more convenient for its residents by providing a service to collect the junk furniture directly from their homes, free of charge!

Often called the Arabian Ranches Mall, is the preferred destination for residents looking to shop and dine. Although there is a limited variety of retail outlets and restaurants, residents can access the mall within the community. Those looking for more varieties can visit the Mall of the Emirates which is only a 20-minute drive by car.

The mall also includes banking facilities, cafes, a pharmacy, photo printers, a pet shop, hair and nail salons, laundry shops, and a travel agency.

Dubai Polo and Equestrian Club

The clubhouse is built in the style of a Spanish ‘hacienda’ and was launched in April 2006. It has become the heart of equestrian activities both for residents and visitors to the city. The club often hosts local and international polo events on two international size polo fields. Dining, leisure, and entertainment options are also readily available.

There are currently 336 stables and an international standard exercise track. Activities including desert hacking, riding, showjumping, and dressage riding can be done in the club.

The Spanish Colonial-style clubhouse has an 18-hole, par 72 desert-style grass course set amidst the ‘sandy waste’ of the natural terrain. Designed by Ian Baker-Finch in partnership with Nicklaus Design, golfers can enjoy the immaculate fairways and greens the course has to offer.

GPS yardage services are also available on the course golf carts and The Academy offers coaching programs with PGA-qualified professionals on its par-three practice area. The clubhouse is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, subject to reservations.

Sub-communities in Arabian Ranches

Homes in Arabian Ranches are inspired by Mediterranean and Arabian designs. Villas and townhouses come in a range of layouts with maid rooms, access to facilities, and in cases of larger villas, private pools.

There are 15 sub-communities in the Ranches – Alma, Al Mahra, Al Reem, Alvorada, Golf Villas, Hattan, La Avenida, Mirador, Mirador La Coleccion, Palmera, Polo Homes, Saheel, Savannah, Terranova, and Aseel.

The luxury sub-communities include Hattan, Mirador La Coleccion, La Avenida, Golf Homes, and Polo Homes. For more exclusive luxury homes set within the championship golf course, Golf Homes is the perfect area with a cluster of 18 villas further divided into three based on covered area and architectural theme. Similarly, Polo Homes are built around the Polo club dotted across Al Qudra Road. It features 5 to 7-bedroom expansive mansions spanning over 7,000 sq. ft. to 60,000 sq. ft.
